Rockfish give birth to live young rather than laying eggs and defend them during early development after they are born. Alaska Rockfish take far longer to reach reproductive age and size than most species. Rockfish have been harvested in Alaska since humans first settled the region. Fresh/Frozen orders are shipped Monday through Thursday upon availability via UPS overnight next day air. Orders received after 7am AST will be shipped upon the next available shipping day. Orders placed Friday - Sunday will be shipped Monday upon availability.
The recipient should be present the day and time of scheduled delivery to ensure proper handling of fresh or frozen product. No signature required, package will be left if no one is available at time of delivery.
