1/9/12: Update On Snow Impact Cordova

BREAKING NEWS:

CRS dispatched equipment to Cordova on Friday to include aluminum shovels custom made for this particular snow situation.  Additionally, we delivered a snow blower, a 40,000 lb front end loader and a 12 yard dump truck.   The mobilization and operations department arrived in Cordova and have been working to clear near snow near and around the Copper River Seafoods facilities on the waterfront.

Once we have a secure pathway, it is our intent to move materials and crews into the area to reinforce the structures that have been damaged by the snow.   One of the company owners and resident of Cordova, Pip Fillingham, is on site with the crew to make sure access to buildings is safe from falling snow.  Once that is complete, a thorough assessment of property will be made.    We don't have any more news on that since Friday evenings report.
