Baked King Crab Clusters with Butter

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 to 4 pounds Alaska Crab legs (King, Snow or Dungeness), thawed or frozen
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Lemon cut into wedges

Baked King Crab Clusters with Butter

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 15-25 minutes

Servings: 4

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

If frozen: rinse frozen Alaskan Crab legs under cold running water to remove any ice glaze; pat dry with paper towels. Discard towels. For thawing, refrigerate overnight, pat dry. Lay crab legs flat, in a single layer, on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Place the baking sheet in the oven, ideally on the middle rack. For thawed crab, bake for 15-20 minutes. For frozen crab, bake for 20-25 minutes. Before removing from the oven make sure all crab is hot to the touch, if the crab is still cool return to the oven and check every 5 minutes until warmed.

Serve immediately with melted butter and lemon wedges.
