HOUSEKEEPER
Copper River Seafoods, Inc.
POSITION PURPOSE
The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for the processing plant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors
- vacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperies
- dust and polish furniture and fittings
- clean metal fixtures and fittings
- empty and clean trash containers
- dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
- clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipe down glass surfaces
- wash windows as scheduled
- sort, wash, load and unload laundry
- sort, fold and put away clean laundry
- operate mechanized cleaning equipment
- maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
- monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements
SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:
Required:
- Lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 25lbs
- Stand for long periods of time
- Kneel, bend and crawl
- Squat and crouch
- Work in confined spaces
- Tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
- A high level of proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software required.
